Unique Sweet and Sour Chilli Paneer -Gluten Free

Note:
- Paneer - cubes 1 cup
- Bell Peppers- Red, green and yellow - 2 cups cut in cubes.
- Ginger -1 inch grated.
- Garlic - 3 pods crushed
- Onion - 1 large cut in big cubes.
- Serrano peppers- 2 finely chopped.
- Grape jelly- 1/2 cup
- Tomato Ketchup- 1/2 cup
- Chinese chilli sauce( schechuan)- 2 tbsp.
- Oil - 1 Tbsp
- Salt - 1 tea spoon or according to taste.
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Red chilli powder -1 tsp.
Method:
- Turn on the heat .
- Mix grape jelly , schechuan sauce, tomato ketchup , salt , water and red chilli powder till it reaches a smooth consistency.Boil for a minute and turn off the heat.
- Turn on the heat. Take a pan . Add oil . Once the oil is warm, add ginger ,garlic, serrano peppers. Saute for a minute.
- Add onion , bell peppers and saute for 3-4 minutes so that the onions are translucent . Add the grape jelly mixture and toss lightly for 1 -2 minutes.
- Add Paneer and fold it lightly so that paneer gets coated with sauce.
- Turn off the heat.
Note:
- Be very careful with salt. You may have to taste more than once. It is better to put a little at a time and check what suits your palette. Tomato sauce and schechuan sauce already have salt.
- You may use this dish as an appetizer or a side dish.
- You may serve it with rice.
- Slantly cut chinese egg plant. Saute them in high heat and add to the sauce.
- Make vegetable manchurian balls and add to this sauce.
- Lightly blanch brocolli and cauliflower florets and add to this sauce.
