Chicken Masala Curry - Gluten free



Ingredients:

  1. Chicken tenders( breast) -2 1/2 pounds. Cut 2 inch pieces
  2. Onions - 2 medium finely chopped
  3. Oil - 2 tablespoons
  4. Ginger-1 inch (grated finely)
  5. Garlic- 5-6 pods(minced )
  6. Tumeric-1/2 teaspoon
  7. Salt - 2 teaspoons or according to taste
  8. Red chilli pepper- 1 teaspoon
  9. Coriander powder( dhaniya powder)- 1 teaspoon
  10. Meat Masala(MDH)- 1 teaspoon
  11. Tomatoes- 4-5 medium size( chopped )
  12. Kasoori methi( Dry fenugreek leaves powder)-2 teaspoons
  13. Garam Masala- 1 teaspoon
  14. Water- 1 1/2 cups
Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and saute it till onions become golden  in color. Add ginger and garlic and saute it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Now add tumeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, meat masala. let it cook for a minute.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and let it cook till the tomatoes become soft and oil seperates.
  4. Add chicken pieces and keep stirring it occasionally so that the chicken changes its color. It may take 6 to 7 minutes.
  5. Add water and salt and  then cover the pot . Turn down the heat and let it cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Stir occasionally so that the masala does not stick the bottom.
  6. Check with fork to see if chicken is tender.
  7.  Garnish it with Kasoori methi and garam masala.
  8. Chicken  masala curry is ready .
