Chicken Masala Curry - Gluten free
Ingredients:
- Chicken tenders( breast) -2 1/2 pounds. Cut 2 inch pieces
- Onions - 2 medium finely chopped
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger-1 inch (grated finely)
- Garlic- 5-6 pods(minced )
- Tumeric-1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 2 teaspoons or according to taste
- Red chilli pepper- 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder( dhaniya powder)- 1 teaspoon
- Meat Masala(MDH)- 1 teaspoon
- Tomatoes- 4-5 medium size( chopped )
- Kasoori methi( Dry fenugreek leaves powder)-2 teaspoons
- Garam Masala- 1 teaspoon
- Water- 1 1/2 cups
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and saute it till onions become golden in color. Add ginger and garlic and saute it for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Now add tumeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, meat masala. let it cook for a minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes and let it cook till the tomatoes become soft and oil seperates.
- Add chicken pieces and keep stirring it occasionally so that the chicken changes its color. It may take 6 to 7 minutes.
- Add water and salt and then cover the pot . Turn down the heat and let it cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Stir occasionally so that the masala does not stick the bottom.
- Check with fork to see if chicken is tender.
- Garnish it with Kasoori methi and garam masala.
- Chicken masala curry is ready .
