Pickled Masala Onions


 

Ingredients:

1. Small onions. - 20

2. Green Chillies - 7

3. Mango Achar or pickle  masala - 2 Tbsp

4. Mustard Oil - 2 Tbsps

 Method:

1. Peel and wash all the onions and peppers.

2. Cut all the onions in 4 parts leaving the bottom joint. Slit the peppers also.

3. Fill the masala or spice mix in the onions and green chillies and keep aside.

4.  Smoke 2 Tbsps of oil and fry onions and peppers.

5. Cover and cook them for 2 minutes on medium heat.

6. Remove the cover and cook it for 2 minutes more .

7. Enjoy the picked onions with plain Parantha , khichri or plain dal and Rice.
