Mashed potatoes - Gluten free





 Ingredients:


  1. Potatoes          :  1 pound( russet potatoes)
  2. Garlic              : 2 cloves( peeeled)
  3. Half and Half   :  1 cup
  4. Butter              :  2 Tbsp
  5. Cheese            :  1 cup ( finely shredded four blend Mexican cheese)
  6. Salt                  :  1/2 tsp or according to taste
  7. Pepper             : 1 tsp( freshly ground)

Method:

  1. Peel the potatoes , dice , wash and boil them  in a pot with 2 cloves of garlic.
  2. Prick a potato with a fork to see if they are done. They should break easily.
  3. Take a colander and remove all the water. 
  4. Put the potatoes in the pot.
  5. Mash the potatoes with potato masher .
  6. Turn on the heat  and put the pot of mashed potatoes on the stove.
  7. Now add half and half, butter salt and pepper and mix well. 
  8. Sprinkle the cheese all over and mix it again.
  9. Gooey , cheesy , garlicky and  buttery mashed potatoes are ready to devour.
