Mashed potatoes - Gluten free
Ingredients:
- Potatoes : 1 pound( russet potatoes)
- Garlic : 2 cloves( peeeled)
- Half and Half : 1 cup
- Butter : 2 Tbsp
- Cheese : 1 cup ( finely shredded four blend Mexican cheese)
- Salt : 1/2 tsp or according to taste
- Pepper : 1 tsp( freshly ground)
Method:
- Peel the potatoes , dice , wash and boil them in a pot with 2 cloves of garlic.
- Prick a potato with a fork to see if they are done. They should break easily.
- Take a colander and remove all the water.
- Put the potatoes in the pot.
- Mash the potatoes with potato masher .
- Turn on the heat and put the pot of mashed potatoes on the stove.
- Now add half and half, butter salt and pepper and mix well.
- Sprinkle the cheese all over and mix it again.
- Gooey , cheesy , garlicky and buttery mashed potatoes are ready to devour.
