Ambrosia Salad - Summer salad - Glutenfree- A must for BBQ
Ingredients:
- Bananas.................................. 3 sliced
- Oranges....................................3 diced
- Seedless grapes........................1/2 lb(red and green)
- Golden raisins............................1/2 cup
- Lemon ......................................1/2 tsp
- Toasted sliced almonds.............1/2 cup
- Cool whip.................................1 container(8oz)
- Mint leaves............................... 1 sprig
- Sugar......................................... 1 Tbsp
- Cut the banana in round pieces . Add lemon juice and keep aside.
- Peel the oranges and cut lengthwise into segments and cut each grape into two parts. You may use mandarin orange in tin instead of fresh orange.
- Toast sliced almonds in microwave for one minute . Keep an eye so that they do not burn.
- Take a bowl and add bananas, orange segments and grapes. , toasted almonds and raisins.
- Add sugar on the fruit and toss lightly. Chill in the refrigerator.
- Fold coolwhip to the fruits and leave it in the refrigerator to chill.
- Garnish with mint leaves.
